What a full Citedon report looks like
Below is a real paid report for bestmoney.com. Every number, every recommendation, every citation in the data tables is real output from a Citedon scan, not mocked. We've annotated each section so you can read it like an analyst would.
Reading guide
- 01Predicted citation (the top number)The headline 0.00 to 1.00 score is the consensus Spearman ρ between our 20-agent sim panel and the real engines. Above 0.60 means the sim panel's ranking matches reality closely enough to trust the recommendations. Below 0.30 means the panel and the engines disagree, treat the report as exploratory.
- 02Per-engine prediction accuracyThe bars below show how well the sim panel matches each engine individually. Some engines are easier to predict than others. A row at 0.85+ is a high-confidence engine for this query; a row below 0.30 means the sim panel doesn't generalize there yet.
- 03Recommended changes, ranked by liftEach edit comes from Claude reading the winner pages and the customer pages side by side.+0.38 means: ship this edit, and our sim panel predicts a 0.38 absolute lift in citation rate. Lift values come from the LLM, calibrated to the magnitude of the gap it observed, not synthetic decay.
- 04Winners vs. gapsTwo columns side by side. The left is what every cited URL has in common. The right is what your URL is missing. If the same pattern shows up green-left and red-right, that's a high-confidence edit to ship first.
- 05Citation audit (your URLs)Per-URL: how often the sim panel cites it, how many real engines actually do today. Use this to decide which page to invest in first if you're comparing multiple URLs at once.
- 06Sim panel top picksThe 10 URLs the sim panel cited most often this run, including competitors we discovered. Yours are marked with a filled dot; competitors are open. If you don't see yours in this list, the competitive map is your roadmap.
- 07Per-engine raw citationsThe actual URLs each engine cited, ranked. Click into any row to see the raw output. If you ever want to question a recommendation, this is the underlying evidence.

Recommended changes ranked by lift
12 edits- 01Embed an interactive personal-loan calculator in the first 800px of bestmoney.com/personal-loans — user picks loan amount + term + credit-tier, sees estimated monthly payment + APR live. This single change is referenced in winner patterns 1, 3, and 8 simultaneously.predicted lift+0.38
- 02Rewrite the H1 to surface a specific APR range: 'Personal loans from 5.96% – 35.99% APR · Compare 18 lenders.' Currently you have a generic title with no numeric anchor.predicted lift+0.31
- 03Add a 'Checking rates won't affect your credit score' callout in the hero section, repeated in the calculator UI and the comparison table header. 11 of 20 sim agents flagged this as a citation gate.predicted lift+0.28
- 04Replace the 'BestMoney Editorial Team' byline with a specific named editor: full name, years of experience, link to LinkedIn, last-updated date. Winners use individual authors with credentials.predicted lift+0.22
- 05Pull lender review counts into the comparison table: show '★ 4.8 (34,188 reviews)' next to each lender name. None of your URLs have this; every winner does.predicted lift+0.19
- 06Add a 'Funding timeline' column to your lender comparison table: 'next business day / 1-3 days / 1 week+' with concrete commitments per lender. This shows up as a screen-2 H2 in 4 of 5 winners.predicted lift+0.18
- 07Add anchor-link navigation by use case in the first scroll: 'For debt consolidation / for home improvement / for emergency / for medical / for weddings'. Winners use this pattern for retrieval-friendliness; AI engines surface these anchors as direct answers.predicted lift+0.14
- 08Add a 'monthly payment estimate' column to the comparison table. Pre-calculate for a $10,000 / 36-month / 700-FICO baseline. Lets AI engines extract exact answers like 'Discover Personal Loans · est. $312/mo for $10k.'predicted lift+0.12
- 09Add a methodology section linking to your editorial process — sample size, weighted criteria, last reviewed date. Sim panel agents who care about trust (agents 7, 13, 20) all cite this in their reasoning.predicted lift+0.09
- 10Add a comparison-page schema markup (`ItemList` + `Product` per lender with `aggregateRating`, `offers` price, `name`). Discover's schema is referenced in Perplexity's retrieval. You don't currently surface this.predicted lift+0.08
- 11Add an 'Updated [Month YYYY]' freshness signal in the page header, refreshed quarterly. Winners that ranked highest on Claude all had 'Updated [recent month]' visible above the fold.predicted lift+0.07
- 12Add explicit 'no fees' callouts on lenders that offer them — Discover repeats 'No Fees. Period.' 3+ times and shows up as a defining feature in 6 of 20 sim agent reasonings.predicted lift+0.05
What winners do
✓ 8 patterns- ✓Interactive loan calculator widget in the first 800px with immediate payment + APR estimates based on user-selected loan amount, term, and credit score (Discover, SoFi, Credible all have this in screen-1)
- ✓Specific numeric APR range in headline or first H1 (e.g. '5.96% – 35.99% APR') — 4 of 5 winners surface this above the fold, vs. zero of your customer URLs
- ✓Tabular comparison chart showing 6–10 lenders side-by-side with columns: APR range, loan amount, terms, monthly payment estimate, minimum credit score (NerdWallet, Bankrate, US News)
- ✓Explicit 'checking rates won't affect credit score' messaging repeated 2–3 times in the first 600px (Credible, Experian, Discover, Upgrade)
- ✓Detailed editorial author byline with credentials, years of experience, and LinkedIn link in first 500px (Bankrate: 'Liz Knueven, 12 years personal finance editor'; NerdWallet: 'Annie Millerbernd, CFP')
- ✓Funding timeline claims with business-day precision in dedicated section: 'as soon as next business day' (Discover, SoFi, LightStream, Upgrade)
- ✓Customer review counts with numeric ratings prominently displayed (Discover: '4.8 of 5 from 34,188 reviews'; SoFi: '4.5 stars · 12,847 reviews')
- ✓Use-case category buttons or anchor links in first 1000px: debt consolidation / home improvement / medical / emergency / wedding (all 5 winners)
What you're missing
✕ 8 gaps- ✕No interactive loan calculator on bestmoney.com or top10.com — both static lender lists with no user-input widget. Discover's calculator alone is referenced in 8 of 20 sim panel reasonings
- ✕bestmoney.com has no specific APR range in the H1; opens with 'Best Personal Loans of 2024' generic title. NerdWallet leads with 'Personal loan rates start at 6.49% APR' in H1
- ✕No 'soft pull / no credit impact' messaging on your URLs. 11 of 20 sim agents cited this as a deciding factor — your pages don't surface it
- ✕Your editorial bylines are weak: bestmoney.com shows 'BestMoney Editorial Team' generic byline. Winners attribute to a single named expert with credentials and timeframe
- ✕No customer review counts or ratings visible on any of your customer URLs. Discover's '34,188 reviews' is the single most-cited social-proof element in the sim panel
- ✕Your pages lack a dedicated 'Funding timeline' section. Bankrate's competitor article opens screen-2 with 'How long does funding take?' as a sub-H2 with explicit business-day commitments
- ✕No use-case category navigation on bestmoney.com or top10.com — winners segment by intent (consolidation vs improvement vs emergency) in the first scroll, you don't
- ✕Your comparison tables, where they exist, lack the 'monthly payment estimate' column. Bankrate, NerdWallet, and US News all include it — 9 of 20 agents flagged this as the differentiator
